On the day of your move our crew will arrive at the designated time.
You will be asked to verify
which insurance option you wish to choose. There are three insurance
options when moving in California. They are briefly explained below but
a more comprehensive explanation can be found in the booklet.
Basic Coverage - This coverage is free and is included in the rate. It covers your goods for 60cents per pound per article.
Actual Value - This is also called Depreciated Value. Minimum coverage is $10,000
Full Replacement Value - Minimum value is $10,000. A deductible is offered with this option on coverage over $20,000.
Particular items can also be
individually insured. Generally these are items of exceptional value.
Proof of value may be required in the event of a claim.
